I can say with 99.9% certainty that it’s NOT Eli Beukes.

Having watched literally thousands of surf edits over the course of my three years at Stab, I must say: Eli’s edit ‘Deep West’ is as powerful an example of raw, relatively unknown talent as I’ve seen in quite some time.

While Eli allows his rail game to sparkle at moments throughout, this edit’s recipe is pretty much all butter and sugar (aka tubes and airs). The kid’s ability to huck full rotations into the flats in offshore waves is only outshined by the tubes at 3:33 and 3:50. When’s the last time you’ve side slipped into a beast like that?
