Whatever Beach: Griffin Colapinto

Whatever Beach is a new web series from Vacation Club and it’s worth your time. The first episode has dropped, featuring the adolescent Griffin Colapinto. Griff’s a young San Clemente kid who’s been putting up solid finishes in the QS ranks. Although his hometown’s known for surf in the waist/chest high range, in the more recent months on the North Shore he proved his worth in heavy, hollow fare. Mr Colapinto won the Pipe Pro Juniors in March and slid into the semis of the Pipe Invitational back in December, losing out to Mason Ho and Jack Robinson. Watch this space, more neon geometric animation to come featuring the likes of Bobby Martinez, Conner and Parker Coffin, and Eithan Osborne. Griff doesn’t remember the 80’s but he sure looks good draped in synth.
