We’re Gonna Say It: Yago Dora Is The Best Surfer Ever At Waco

Many fantastical surfers have visited the wave pool at Waco’s BSR Resort. 

JOB hit it first. Seth Moniz made it famous. The 2x Champ had a swing. Surely we needn’t re-name the Stab High roster. 

We’ve watched every pro have their chance at Waco, specifically on the Magnusson-designed ramp, which has attracted the most attention of all BSR’s marvelous features.

After a careful observation and analysis, we’ve come to the irrefutable conclusion that Yago Dora is the best surfer ever on the Waco ramp. His consistency, variety, and style were beyond compare in 2018, which was coincidentally the year of this pool’s origin. 

However Waco has been shut down since October, and assuming all goes to plan with their renovation, March 2019 will present an opportunity for overthrow.

This raises the question: will Filipe, Italo, or Willian fly to Waco and steal Yago’s crown, or will the defending champ of stupidly greased punts remain on top of the (recently) chlorinated world?
