Evidently, Western Australia is a breeding ground for gifted surfers. The rawness of the waves has a direct correlation with the freakish talent level. The take-offs are steep, the lips are thick, and the foam ball is never far behind. You need to be dialed in to get clips like these. Any hesitation at all, and you’re decimated.

Normally, Hawaii is known as surfing’s “proving grounds”, but I disagree with that sentiment. West Oz has a wildcard factor, a hint of spice sprinkled along its coastlines.
