As we all know — and wish we didn’t — John John Florence is sitting out the 2025 season. Tragic. Heartbreaking. But it’s fine — because our solace lies in the fact that he’s destined to become a recurring character on his brother’s much-loved Fear Safari.

But is John about to out-vlog his little brother?

In the barely born new year of 2025, he’s already fired off six shorts on YouTube. Maybe the real gold isn’t in chasing world titles but in chasing the algorithm.

His latest video was filmed between comp days at the Lexus Pipe Pro, and while the WSL deemed conditions unworthy, the Florence crew made it look more than contestable. Cameos include Nate Florence, Eli Olson, Luke Swanson, and — most notably, and most entertainingly — Italo Ferreira, throwing himself at sections with little regard for life or ligaments.

Worthy? Absolutely.
