Watch: Nic von Rupp’s “Reef Road”

The teaser of Nic von Rupp’s newest full-length flick, “Reef Road”, piqued our interest.  We appreciate the Portuguese big wave surfer’s success when it comes to wrestling unforgivable masses. Mr von Rupp’s finds joy in pitching himself into big barrels over shallow rocks, which is why we endorsed his “My Road” (watch one below) series from some time back.

So when Nic told Stab his freshest material would be, “A fictional movie about a girl that lives on this isolated island with perfect reefs with some airs, some turns and long barrel combos,” he continued. “But mostly big heavy dark pits.” It was a convincing sales pitch.
