Watch: Cam Richards in ’22’

Cam Richards has only recently turned ‘22’ and already holds an air repertoire comparable to some of the world’s best.

The young American’s surfing has certainly come a long way since his near-win over Dane in the infamous 2013 Trestles popularity contest.

Here, the young goofy-footer shows off his aerial arsenal with a range of lofty full rotors, straight punts and loopy oops; the majority of which were shot over a short period in Portugal.

Along with an impressive air game, Cam is also more than poised in the solid stuff – note the spine-tingling flogging at Cave.

We’re looking forward to seeing more free-surfing and QS competing (he came 69th in 2017) from the young man in the coming months.
