Watch: Blizzard-Spawned Tubes in the Great State of New York
That feel it in your bones type cold.
The Northeast got more than a little dusting this past week when Winter Storm Gail rolled in to town.
Dropping a foot of snow on the region, Northeast heavies Balaram Stack, Pat Schmidt, Thomas Inhken, and Sam Hammer knew that somewhere there would be a desolate, freezing cold stretch of sand going off*. Where exactly that happened to be, you’ll have to figure for yourself… but for some context, Action Bronson and Will Skudin didn’t have to travel far to enjoy some for themselves.
This clip was put together by renowned Northeast filmer Ryan Mack. Ryan’s no slouch when it comes to getting clips in these conditions. With that, experience and insulation are two very different things, and no amount of the former will keep one warm when standing in blustery, near freezing temps like this.
PS: And where was our Mikey Ciaramella during all of this? The story goes he was too busy putting in his snow angel reps that he lost track of time and got snowed in to his Mom’s house… proving yet again that in 2020 you simply cannot expect anything to go your way.
