Watch: Beloved Ventura Boutique Allows Employees to Surf on Lunch-Break

Is Dane Reynolds raising an allegiance of mordant heirs to his Ventura throne? Sardonic commentary, a reluctance to compete, heavy-footed demolition of innocent beach breaks… Chapter 11.tv might be nothing more than the episodic broadcasting of Dane’s illegitimate offspring. 

The Ventura collective have tapped into an advanced and splendidly compelling genre of surf video: watching the elite perform in conditions that we, the peons of society, hopelessly pillage for satisfaction on a daily basis. 

In their latest donation — SHIT WAVES 4 — the fellas remind us that even the brilliant can falter on vapid sand. They seem in on the joke, and the whole thing is glazed in Dane’s trademark hyper-irony. 

“If you eat shit on a good wave, that good wave becomes a shit wave,” reads the lyrical caption of the fresh YouTube upload. 

Like a dilapidated 80’s nightclub with faulty speakers, the Ventura crew continue to dance, regardless of the flawed arena. 

Well worth your time.
