Watch: An Unknown, Stylish Backside Tuberider Who Caught Our Eye

Pig-dogging is many things—functional, ergonomic, sexually dimorphic—but rarely does beautiful make the list. 

There are only a few surfers who perform this maneuver with enough style and grace to earn such an elevated distinction: John Florence, Craig Anderson, JoJo Roper, among others. After watching this video, we’d like to add Maui’s Rhett Wiseman to that list. 

At a left-hander that Clay Marzo once made famous in his myriad surf parts, Rhett threads a massive piece of lumber through intricate, breathing tubes before finishing them off with stylish backhand hooks and the like (the grab-rail cutty was to die for).
