Vissla Presents: “Pedro’s Bay”

If there’s one thing the digital age’s been good for, it’s the spark it has lit in filmmakers to make something with some depth to it. Eddie Obrand’s work with Vissla is a prime example. Remember Palmera Express? The longer-play storytelling du jour that woke the world up to characters like Bryce Young, Derrick Disney, and more? Of course you do. Well, Mr Obrand and Vissla are back with their newest flick: Pedro’s Bay. It stars all your favourites from the diverse Vissla team. Brendon Gibbens, Eric Geiselman, Bryce Young, Derrick Disney, and Cam Richards (and more!) included. 

Bryce does those layback cutbacks only he can make look so pretty and Eric nails those inverted rodeo flips that are hard to comprehend let alone explain. And that’s just in the opening section. It’s certainly an entertaining watch and if Pedro’s Bay is a real place, we want in. And after 23-minutes of viewing team Vissla slide under cerulean hangers like it’s a competition, you will too. Expect to be hit by a twinge of envy powerful enough to set off car alarms.
