The Bella Kenworthy Edit.
Have four minutes? Don’t lie, we both know you do.
Reformatting your spreadsheet or responding to that DM can take a brief back seat to the future of women’s surfing, aka Bella Kenworthy. Justify it as cultural edification in gender equality.
Shot over the course of a year in locations including Mexico, Hawai’i, and her home state of California, this punchy piece displays the 15-year-old natural footer’s progression in real-time. In the short span, lips are bashed, barrels are threaded, and grown men’s abilities are cast in stark contrast as we watch her power, confidence, and above-the-lip aptitude increase viscerally with each passing moment.
Bella Kenworthy first competed as a Ladybird in Stab High 2018 and has been posting significant scores ever since. Most recently, she finished equal 3rd in the 2022 SuperGirl Pro and is currently in Indo, flying high with this year’s flock for Vans Stab High presented by Monster Energy: Indonesia.
It’s clear we’ll be seeing much more of Bella in the future, including when VSHPMEI launches on Stab Premium on October 24th, and on YouTube on October 27th. Until then, enjoy ‘Tresha‘.
