Today’s Entertainment: Darren Handley’s Kirra Jet Ski Slam
One fairytale that doesn’t have a happy ending.
Is there anyone out there who’s feed hasn’t been jam-packed with green Gold Coast freight trains ever since Cyclone Gita’s 18-second gift graced Australia’s East Coast?
It’s been wild. And yes, we’ve a comprehensive swell wrap coming your way shortly (our contributors from the region are still regrouping after the freak conditions), but in the meantime we have for you an entrée. The world loves a slam and we’ve a mighty fine one for you today.
What you’ll see above, if you haven’t already started viewing, is shaper superstar and winner of our very first Stab In The Dark feature, Darren Handley, operating the ski this morning in sunny South Queensland. He’s got vet lensman Corey Wilson onboard (albeit not for long), Dean Harrington stepping off the rear and one gorgeous Kirra drain lined up in front of him.
While Mr Handley has proved he knows his way around a foam blank, his PWC game may need a little work.
