This Is What Exceptional Rail Surfing Looks Like

Filipe Toledo finished ninth in the two Hawaii events to start the Men’s 2022 CT season.    

The first was Pipeline, the latter was Sunset Beach. Both are hard as hell to surf at a high level…for very different reasons.

And while Filipe has made major gains to improve his comfort and ability in waves of consequence, that doesn’t stop him from sneaking over to Haleiwa every once in a while for a (relatively) carefree thrash.
