A helluvalotta content makes its way onto our small and big screens each year, making the SSOTY Best Edit category possibly the hardest to win.

To qualify as an “edit” in Stab Surfer of the Year the pieces in question had to be either single-serving clips under the run time of 15 minutes or a made for web series.

After ten days of voting, there were 22 edits nominated. In the end, Kai Neville and Mikey February’s cultural series, Sonic Souvenirs, took the ‘best of’ accolade with six total votes out of 45 surfers* plus the Stab Premium voters. Behind it, three clips and one series tied for the 2nd place spot: Harry Bryant’s Bio Haz, Jaleesa Vincent’s Eerie, Torren Martyn’s Lost Track: Atlantic series (the Stab Premi favorite), and Yago Dora’s Ciclo

Hit play above (or below for the full clips) and watch them roll.

*46 including Kelly Slater’s last minute picks.
