The Screaming Streams Of Montana And Idaho With Dylan Graves
Snowmelt with a little bit of sunshine!
Episode two of Dylan Graves and Vans’ new series “Weird Waves” brings us to the crisp town of Missoula, Montana for the first stop of Mr. Graves’ coined “Stream Tour.”
This go ’round, Dyl’s brought along 15-year-old grommet and lord of the psych, Sir Jett Schilling. We’re fans of young Jett, we invited him to Stab High and he spent the entire time running laps around BSR Cablepark, boogie boarding the slide, trying acid drops off the wall, surfing as much as he could and doing it all with a cast on his wrist and smile. So, Jett’s teaming up with Mr. Graves for this episode of “Weird Waves” is a treat, as they both emulate what surfing is supposed to be: the psych and the search.
As we have, and will come to discover with this series, surfing is wherever you make it. Here Dyl links up with Montana surf local, KB Browne, who’s not only part of a weird underground surf scene in his landlocked state but is a surfboard shaper, as well.
After Dyl and Jett tear through Montana, they drop Jett at the airport for a contest and make their way to Idaho for stop two of the Stream Tour at a little spot called Pipeline.
For something a little different, hit the triangle above.
Ankle high and mountain made. Jett and Dylan do the stream.
