We straight-up love that Volcom still know their identity. It’s easy to get lost along the way but Volcom know who they are and still do it oh, so well. Remember in 1991 when Volcom was the first company to melt surfing, skating and snowboarding into one big beautiful mess? By 1993 the Stone dropped Alive We Ride, a moving collage of Volcom’s soul that danced with all three board types and those who rode ‘em best. It brought the three disciplines together and was a bible for any shred enthusiast of the era. Now, 20 years on, Volcom set out to do the same with True To This, a feature-length film shot around the world and starring their wildly-good team.
