Watch: The G-Babies Put On A Bottom Turn Clinic!
On a twin fin, no less.
Surfboards with two fins are hot as fish oil right now, but almost exclusively in the short and stubby form.
It’s rare to find someone riding a twin that has some length in the rail line, which is probably why Tanner and Dane Gudauskas have been rocking the crafts of late. Buy low, sell high, etc.
While these boards don’t promote supersickshreddogging, they do allow for some unique and admittedly fun-looking lines on a wave. Not sure if we’re getting old or if Instagram has just desensitized us to what is colloquially referred to as ‘ripping’, but these slow, syrupy direction-changes are starting to look much more enticing than another wing-ding or ho-dad.
Speaking of which, can we appreciate some of the bottom turns in this clip? Those G boys know how to get low!
