Boardshorts That Can Change Size? Yes, Please.
Previous A Place In The Sun winners, TCSS, bring the versatility.
The Critical Slide Society really do make fine trunks. Proof? They won Stab’s inaugural boardshort competition. And while this year’s entry might be very aesthetically pleasing, it doesn’t immediately reveal any show-stopping elements. At least, not until you put them on. See, not every man is created equal. Not every waist perfectly lands on an even measurement between 28 and 34. And it’s this, which TCSS have so elegantly addressed in the Couch Surfer. “We’ve added our signature 3rd eyelet,” says Matt Waters. “So you can run them as a 32 or 31 inch waist.” This is undoubtedly a subtle stroke of genius. But, what else do these gems pack? “We’ve also put in a slightly wider waistband, a look more consistent with a logger style trunk, and we’ve carved a scallop up the outside leg. Who doesn’t love a scallop?” Who, indeed. It truly is the simple pleasures that make an exquisite boardshort.
