A while back we wrote an article called Where Is The New Crop Of Exciting Young Male Surfers?

Long story short, it was sparked by the words of a major surf label team manager who commented that there are few, if any, young prospects coming up that will pose a real threat to the current top 5. 

In that article we spoke with Stace Galbraith, WSL commentator, Stab podcast co-host, and CT Coach, who stressed the importance of being exciting, referencing Harry Bryant and Italo as exemplars. 

Max Muddle, an agent from The Fordham Company, who stressed the importance of sharing your personality and building trusting relationships with your team.

Then there was the exec, who wanted to remain anonymous, that outlined the traits they’re looking for in young talent. “Hard-working, well-spoken, learn-it-all type, independent social media machines that audiences can get excited about.”

I don’t know Eimeo, but I always look forward to his clips. High-octane tube wrangling and punts. He’s also a bloody prolific content creator, this is his third clip he’s dropped in the past month from his Youtube series, HiGH Line. 

I reckon he’d be a pretty good young prospect to gamble on.
