Tournotes: Seabass Claims Tail-Low Airs Back En Vogue!

And more from Tournotes in France.

Man, I hate the African and European stops on tour. The waves can be great, sure, but the time difference is atrocious. If you live on America’s west coast, these competitions take place between midnight and 8 AM, which is the only time you can catch vintage music videos on MTV. And if you think I’m passing up Bloodhound Gang’s “The Bad Touch” for some water acrobatics, you are sadly mistaken. Plus, thanks to the advent of the Heat Analyzer, I can catch the best surfing from every event whenever it suits me.

But the Heat Analyzer makes a man greedy. If it ain’t a green circle that promises a score 8 or above, chances are I’m not clicking — and that’s just for the surfing side of things. Through the Heat Analyzer, we rarely if ever seek out extracurricular entertainment, like Ronnie throwing shade, Nat Young applying sunscreen to his cuticles, or Strider saying something along the lines of: “It’s absolutely tabernacling out here Pottz!”

And that is where Tournotes comes in. It’s three minutes of the best, worst, and behind the scenesest moments from each event.

The French installment includes: Jaddy vying for a judging position in 2025, Seabass rocking Kolohe’s shades then beating him, and Mick acting like a giddy schoolgirl after landing his first air in a decade (even though he lost his heat).
