Robbie Rickard Isn’t In The Business Of Airs

Robbie Rickard has the best mullet in surfing; No shaved sides, no thinning on top, and no straggly whispers at the rear. It’s a groomed and luscious throwback to the mullet’s origin – true business at the front and full-volumed party at the back.

Maintaining groomed locks isn’t all this Flightless Bird has going for him though. He’s also pretty good at riding a surfboard.  

We’re not one to make derogatory comparisons, but last time Robbie appeared here, some smart aleck kid called him ‘a poor man’s Jay Davies who can’t do airs’.

“To that cunt in the comments, Jay Davies is way fitter than me, it’s hard to get this frame moving. I’m more like the Australian Willian Cardoso.” Robbie told Stab when we hit him up the comparison. “But also fuck that guy for making accurate judgements about my surfing.”

The above clip from Adelio suits features Robbie at his North Coast home, the South Cost, and even a little splash from New Zealand on a trip with Chippa Wilson. 

“There’s some vintage pre-mullet clips in there, but don’t worry the mullet is alive and well. Still as voluptuous as ever.” Robbie continued.

In 2018 it’s a rarity to see anyone loosely labelled a ‘millennial’ avoiding the air, and at 22 years old, Robbie is more than capable of fully immersing his rail, and ain’t bad at holding line in a tube either.
