Reef Heazlewood’s Rage Against The Machine

By night Reef dutifully reads his bible, by day, he punts without credence for his knee ligaments. Reef was a standout on Stab Highway, not just for his caustic rendition of Tom Chochrane’s ‘Life is a Highway’ or his mortifying ‘side mohawk’ haircut, but because he was one of the most undeniable talents on the trip. He was also the only surfer to complete the Wade Goodall ‘floater to oop’ challenge other than Wade himself.

Reef finished #65 on the CS last season and made his second CT appearance as a wildcard at Rottnest ousting fellow Australian goofyfoot, Ryan Callinan. In 2019, he took down Julian Wilson at the Quik Pro at Snapper on his debut. We are big fans of Reef.
