Growing up on Oahu’s North Shore, one becomes accustomed to dealing with massive crowds.
Pipeline, Rockies, V Land – pretty much anywhere worth surfing will be teeming with people once the ocean shows signs of life. That’s why, for RVCA groms and North Shore residents Noah Beschen and Makana Pang, this South Pacific atoll (in the video above) offered a welcome divergence to their daily traffic-weaving.
Working with an expert local guide, the kids find wedges, ramps and the odd perfect tube, all completely isolated from the wider surfing public. The results speak for themselves.
