Next Up In The Young, Blonde, Hawaiian And Ripping Category: 15-Year-Old Luke Swanson

Coming straight outta Mililani town, young Luke Swanson’s profile is on the up. The bright-eyed, 15-year-old goofy-footer inked a deal with Rip Curl earlier this year, and the ensuing hype video that just dropped begs the question, how high’s this kid going to fly?

Growing up in Mililani, when he was but a pup the family moved to Haleiwa to be closer to the surf. These days they’re posted up at Pupukea. Little Luke’s been diligently been refining his act at Rocky Point and working closely with former Tour journeyman and all-around good guy Freddy Patacchia. 

This year Swanson dipped his toes in the QS waters, competing both at Sunset and down in Tahiti, and with another North Shore winter knocking on the door, perhaps more big things are in store for him. We’re keeping our eye on him, and maybe you should too.
