It seems I’ve been too lenient. I’ve been throwing around words like “perfect” and “deep” all willy nilly. I have only myself to blame for the false hype around every barrel that lands on my cluttered desktop. This edit from Tyler Newton has recalibrated the scoring system.
What on God’s green earth did I just watch? Newton pops out after the spit on every other slab he encounters. And when you’re surfing Nias or Pipe, the heavy wave count starts to add up. Seriously, someone get this kid a pair of goggles; those post barrel facials have to be destroying his corneas.
