Mason Ho Braves “Shark-Infested Waters” On A Rocket Redux x Mark Richards Frankenboard

A (severely mangled) broken nose ain’t keeping this Mayhem in the grave.

We shudder to think how many gorg little Mayhem numbers get put in their graves by Mason Ho’s whole North Shore rock dance routine.

But have you ever considered the running tab at Mace’s family dink king, KO? Mason’s casualties must account for a healthy part of his regular labor.

This AM Mason’s trusted sharpshooter Rory Pringle hit us with the edit above. Here’s the backstory:

“About two weeks ago Mason destroyed one of his favorite surfboards. Usually when this happens, Mason’s Dad Michael will find the board in their yard and take it to our good friend K.O. for repair.

“In this video we show the mangled nose of his magic “Rocket Redux” get chopped off and replaced with a “Mark Richards X Mayhem California Twin” nose that broke a few months ago, making a Frankenstein Surfboard that actually works really well.

After the ding repair Mason tests it out with his good friend Sheldon Paishon at a surf spot with jagged lava rock, sea urchins and very shark-infested waters.”
