Luke Davis Rips Through Indo With Just a 5’4

Yesterday we released our Rad Ripper Joyride board test, featuring a moderately talented little person mucking around in average surf. 

Oh how silly that video now looks, when compared to Luke Davis’ recent film, Dream Again, which highlights the same Mayhem craft in painfully flawless Indonesian surf.

Luke puts his board in all the critical places – tube, sky, rail, etc. – without ever looking like he might catch an edge, let alone fall. That’s called true mastery.

While not at the level of today’s high-performers, LD makes surfing look uncommonly fun, which is perhaps what we appreciate most in a clip. Didn’t this make you want to chuck your filing cabinet out of the 11th-floor window and shoot down to the beach?
