Late Pop-Ups Are All The Rage

Y’ever tried to pop-up halfway down the face?

It ain’t easy. 

But, when done well, the late pop-up can be incredibly stylish and cool. See: most good longboarders and Rob Machado. 

In this video Miguel Blanco takes the late pop-up to another level, waiting until all the way in the tube to properly erect himself (see 1:45). 

Despite not pulling it off, we respect Miguel’s efforts and can’t wait to see JOB nail this move while on fire and surfing Pipeline with blindfolded.
