Kolohe Andino, In Career-Best Form

Brother hearts Europe.

Kolohe Andino just joined Youtube.

While this may seem like a nominal fact, it should be highly exciting for you because with this new channel comes a brand new edit… from last year. Timestamps be damned, good surfing is good surfing, and no one can deny that last year was a coming-out party for young Brother. He exuded great maturity in 2019, along with some newfound confidence, and lest we forget the finals drama at the Goldie. Who knows what would have happened if he notched that first win under his belt to kick off the season…

Anyways, Kolohe has seemingly had a positive relationship with Portugal throughout the years. He was part of THAT session where Kelly landed his frontside air with many rotations and released European Arnold seven years ago on Vimeo, which featured a young Kolohe fighting the stigma that he “couldn’t do full rotations”.

Portuguese waves are fun for anyone, but when you mix one of the best tail blow reverses in the world with steep, pockety waves, the result is mint. Kolohe deserves your next 3 minutes, but if that’s still too much then please just watch the wave at 1:56. That will never, ever get old.
