John Florence, Craig Anderson, Francisco Porcella And More In “Logic Of A Dream”
Go ahead and dedicate your next three minutes to Nuno Dias’ showreel.
Carcavelos, Portugal. A 12-year-old kid stands on the beach shooting photos of his brother bodyboarding. Besides the shutter, something clicks. Swells come and go. He burns through frames. Three years later he’s saved his money to buy his first water housing. By 16 he’s decided that becoming a professional photographer is his one true calling.
It’s now been ten years since Nuno Dias snapped those first shots of his brother. He just recently released his eye-catching edit entitle “Grande,” and on the heels of that success, Dias is now dropping his first-ever showreel, “Logic of a Dream”, cut to Explosions in the Sky, an instrumental band from Texas that if you ever have the chance to see live, Stab highly recommends it.
“It’s not every day that you can find talents like John John Florence, Craig Anderson, Francisco Porcella, Lucas Chumbo surfing in front of you, and I feel like I’m a very lucky guy to have had the privilege to capture it all,” says Dias.
