Did You Forget About Icaro Rodrigues?

Every couple years Icaro Rodrigues will drop a clip full of punchy, technical surfing, all filmed near his home in Brazil, and the collective surf world will scratch their head and go: Well, who the hell is that? 

Surf media will ponder, “Who is Icaro Rodrigues?” or lament, “Icaro Rodrigues, somebody we’d never heard of until about 180 seconds ago…” and then go on to lavish praise upon the lo-pro goofyfoot’s penchant for a proper punt. 

So, here’s Icaro Rodrigues, one of what are presumably many more underground Brazilians who would make your average local beachie look like a world-class skatepark, lighting up a few to the tune of The Stooges, “Not Right.”
