Hey Internet Troll, Sierra Kerr’s ‘Fundamentals’ Look Pretty Flawless To Us

About a week ago, we published a video of the Stab High Ladybirds on our Instagram page. 

The caption read:

Disparage Stab properties all you want. Roast our writers in the comments. Steal @ashtonsealegs‘ hat and chuck it out the window (lord knows he’ll have another one at the ready). But frankly, there’s not one bad thing you can say about the @stab_high Ladybirds.

…Or so we thought. 

Not an hour after posting, a man by the name of Pablo (who goes by @mexikoa17 on IG—28 posts, 7 followers) wrote:

“Cant do a turn but pops an air. Kids are all screwed up. Get your fundamentals down first. See this at the local all day..”

Meh. See for yourself. 

Separately, the greatest surfer of all time, @kellyslater, commented on our video with [clappy hands] and Women’s CTer @tatiwest with [starry eyes] “so sick.”

One of the Ladybirds herself, @sierrakerr, replied sweetly: 

“Rad! Thank you and see you soon. I’m excited to have fun hanging and surfing with the girls.”

Five days later, Sierra dropped the above video on her Youtube channel, featuring a recent trip to Indonesia. Over the course of one-minute-and-47-seconds, the Ladybirds champ did not attempt one air. Instead, it was all rail, tail, and the occasional tube—what we understand to be surfing’s “fundamentals”. 

What says you, Pablo (seen below burning a grom with a troglodyte hunch)?
