Earlier this year, we enlisted four fine purveyors of P.O.V, handed them GoPros (A HERO7 and a Fusion) and sent them out in search of the maddest, largest tube they could stick their surfboards and cameras in.

Our GoPro aficionados are none other than bona fide tube pigs: Shane Dorian, Anthony Walsh, Ry Craike and Mikala Jones.

Apart from Shane, Anthony, Ry, and Mikala maintain their relevance in surfing almost solely off offering up some of the most in the guts POV experiences on the internet — they’re truly wizards with a GoPro, searching for different angles in tubes that most would prefer to watch from the safety of their mobile devices. All four of these gentlemen, we can firmly state, take the honors of being in the top 15 most barreled men in surfing.

For this contest, we split them into teams: Doz and Walshy vs. Mikala and Craikey. They then chased the same swell in an undisclosed location known for its barren and square waves.

In a mission that contained a few sharks scares, Walshy reportedly never leaving the water, and more tubes than 90 percent of surfers rack up in their lifetimes, one of the two teams came home with a POV shot unlike any we’ve ever seen.

Seriously, it’s fucking wild.

GoPro x Stab’s Kings of POV will begin to trickle out tomorrow, but first here’s a taste of what’s to come.

Hit the triangle and watch the trailer.
