Frankie Harrer at Chopes
You all remember that Chopes session last month when the surfing world descended on Tahiti in expectation of a Code Red-esque swell, but were instead presented with playful 4-6ft conditions. Well, it turns out that swell wasn’t so playful, and that some of the larger waves of the day were ridden by 16-year-old Frankie Harrer. Yeah, the Malibu gal gave it a solid nudge, and filmer/photog Morgan Maassen was there to document it all. Hang in there – things start to get real exciting at the 2.15 mark.
