For surfers, November 2nd will always be a date heavy with emotional weight.

Ten years after Andy Irons’ death, it’s time to see how the most influential surfer of the last 25 years came to be—from the childhood peers who pushed him, to the icons who took him under-wing—and how his surfing has stood the test of time.

For the last year, we’ve been sourcing footage from every era of Andy’s surfing life—from his grom-hood in Hawaii, his formative years with the …Lost Crew, his early competitive flairs and failures, his peak years dominating the world tour, and his last year on tour in 2010, as he returned to competition while spending time freesurfing with his closest friends at each stop.

Featuring heaps of unseen surf footage, plus archival interviews with Andy and Bruce Irons, Taj Burrow, Joel Parkinson, Dustin Barca, Cory and Shea Lopez, Matt Biolos and more, this is Andy Irons in his purest form: intensely competitive, deeply emotional, unpredictable, relentless, and raw.

Andy Irons and The Radicals is coming soon.
