Caroline Marks Is Just Absurdly Likable And Talented, Isn’t She?

Like sweet tea on a hot afternoon!

By now you’ve been acquainted with 16-year-old Floridian, Caroline Marks, perhaps the most well-mannered and maddeningly polite surfer to put on a ‘CT singlet since Carissa Moore.

In the opening half of her rookie year, Marks has shown up and blown up, Occy references being tossed at what Ronnie Blakey calls “the best female backhand in the world,” without a hint of hyperbole, as she’s quickly climbed to a comfortable top-10 position on the ratings, with many claiming she’s got a genuine shot at a Title, if she keeps it up.

While we can look forward to Marks on tour for years to come (acts of God and pubescent anomalies nothwithstanding), here’s a short clip of Marks around her second home of San Clemente, and putting in the work at the Surf Ranch, during downtime from her first year with the leading ladies.
