California Dreamin’ With Nathan Fletcher

The first brand associated with marijuana entered into surf on a high. In December, Weedmaps did arm curls on the North Shore, renting out the most magnificent mansion above Sunset Beach and turning it into a health and wellness center. They also threw some of the winter’s most memorable parties. We flew out and slow danced with WM, you can read about it here (or watch below).

Since then, they’ve taken their team on the road to the Spannabis Cup, which is the Cannabis Cup in Spain – hence the name – and have been producing content in the realm of surf, skate and moto. Which, with the recent ending of prohibition and the normalisation of weed throughout the majority of America, is a fitting time. Here’s Nate Fletcher’s episode of their “How I Roll” series. We catch him in Newport for some playful waves and breakfast and follow him Arto Saari’s house to skate an abandoned pool. As some hip-hop artist once said, “Roll one. Smoke one.”
