While true, one should also expect exceptional waveriding.

The above clip has no world-class, reeling point breaks or waves that would put hair on a young boy’s chest…but what this edit lacks in wave quality, it makes up for with excited, fast-twitch, and entertaining surfing. While most people would pull up to these conditions, drink coffee in their car for 30 minutes, and contemplate putting on their ‘kind of dry’ suit before turning back home (ahem, me), I imagine the Gudauskas brothers are riding to the beach half mast and paddling out before even looking at it. Commitment like that is what leads to mastering full-bore rail turns, like that seen at 1:23.
