Yesterday Hossegor Turned Into A Marvelous Barrel Fest

France in autumn, there’s really nothing finer… This week the Quik Pro kicks off, and the surf has turned on just as the circus has come to town.

As the world’s best are just touching down in Hossegor the banks at La Norde and La Grav are tuned up. Offshore breezes and behind-the-peak take-offs were the order of the day as the workweek kicked off. 

Jeremy Flores’ compression chamber is nuts. We’re still trying to figure out how Zeke Lau escaped the guillotine. The Italian Stallion is back. And a few of the usual suspects indulged themselves. 

The Atlantic is churning right now and there’s swell upon swell stacking up for the next couple weeks. It’s a beautiful thing.
