Occy had him on his talkshow-slash-podcast series earlier this year; where he pried open Mick’s well-guarded mind and gave us a glimpse inside. Mick talked about the dark year that passed, his recent travels and his plans for a return to competition (which might be short-lived!?)…

“All I know for sure is I’ll be surfing Snapper and Bells,” says Mick in the latest episode. “It’s my dream to retire at Bells. I’m not sure if it will be this year or when I’m 50, but I really want to end my career there.”
