Pumping Swells Expected For Corona Pro Bali
Keramas will ignite!
Great news from the ocean.
According to every long-term forecast we’ve checked, there’s a sizable storm forming in the Indian Ocean over the next few days, which make landfall first in WA then shoot the remainder of its energy toward the Indonesian archipelago, making landfall on May 27, the opening day of the Corona Pro Bali.
Better still, an even larger swell is expected to follow the first one, guaranteeing a week straight of pumping surf for the browner, shorter, right-running Cloudbreak replacement.
The last CT event held at Keramas was back in 2013, where Joel Parkinson won after nailing a Perfect 20 in his Round 5 heat. This was also the last competition he’s won as a Championship Tour competitor.

Assuming the forecast remains steady (as it tends to do in this part of the world), the Tour’s foremost barrel riders will be licking their chops for some dark east coast pits.
Speaking of, how much do you wanna bet Slater’s foot will be magically healed in the coming days?
