Owen Wright Marries His Co-Parent And Platinum-Selling Artist, Kita Alexander
Another wild Aussie wrangled by the cozy arms of love.
Once a dreamscape for singles and serial fornicators, the World Tour has become surprisingly tame over time, with the majority of male CTers currently in long-term and/or legally binding partnerships.
The most recent addition to that list is Owen Wright, who tied the knot with his co-parent and platinum-selling performer, Kita Alexander, just a few days back.
Aside from creating the world’s most adorable little boy—Vali—Kita and Owen have been through a lot together, including Owen’s severe head injury in 2015 and his ongoing recovery efforts.
Unable to walk or talk properly (let alone surf) for a number of months following the incident, it was Kita’s consistent love that allowed Owen the time and space he needed to heal.
Following that phase, Kita, Vali, and Owen shared a tearful embrace when Owen won his first event back at Snapper Rocks in 2017. A moment notched in competitive surf history.
On January 31, 2020, the two formalized their love in a softly lit terrace and celebrated with a Tim Tam cake.
It’s been rumored that Owen has not worn a helmet since their official coupling.
