Mick Fanning grants wish for a grom with brain cancer
Mick Fanning is gradually becoming surfing’s greatest role model. Fighting sharks, donating cash to a fellow classmate and shark attack survivor, current world number one and making wishes come true for a child with brain cancer. After working with the Starlight Foundation and Ben Beasley’s parents, Mick surprised the child fighting cancer on one of their family trips. Ben’s been through seven rounds of chemotherapy and has 12 to go. Mick joined him for a surf just one week after his latest round of chemo. Needless to say Ben was pumped, “it was the best moment of my life.” And who wouldn’t want to share some waves with Mick at Snapper, he’s an Australian icon. And the three time world champ is getting more likable by the day. So, sit back and let the stoke fill your marrow. Got to love some feel-good vibes to smooth out your work week.
