Incident At URBNSURF Leaves Surfer In Critical Condition

On Friday at 11:30 am, a man was rushed to the hospital after a session at the URBNSURF wave park in Tullamarine, Australia, located five minutes from Melbourne’s airport.
URBNSURF addressed the incident in the statement below:
A Victoria Ambulance spokeswomen told an Australian news site that the man (believed to be in his 40s) suffered a medical episode while in the water.
The surfer has been hospitalized at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he is in critical condition. The incident in under ongoing investigation by the Australian authorities.
