Hobgoods need your help

There is a second ASP world title on offer this year, but you’ll need $25K to take it home. An upcoming feature-length doco that delves into the lives of CJ & Damien Hobgood has just been announced on crowdfunding site Indiegogo, and they’re looking for your help to make it happen. Aptly titled ‘The Documentary Of CJ & Damien Hobgood’, the film will polarize the pinnacle moments of the twins’ lives, from victories and defeats, to failures and successes. Essentially, it will be a cool insight into what it’s like living as competitive surfers and identical twins and competing for the same dream. Why now? Well, for the first time in 13 years Damien failed to qualify for the Tour, while brother CJ recently picked up a major sponsor for the first time in six years. Not to compare said circumstances, but director Justin Purser reckons it’s the perfect time to not only recap on their past struggles and successes, but to document what the future holds for them. There’s a bunch of perks on offer for making a donation, from a daily shaka, to a skype convo with the brothers, and of course, that coveted WCT trophy. To help make it all happen, click here. Campaign closes on July 13.
