Garrett McNamara rides 90 foot wave
Andy Cotton just whipped Garrett McNamara into the biggest wave ever ridden. Or, so it’s been proposed. The beastly mountain of water, estimated to be 90 feet, rolled through a spot in Nazaré, Portugal. Garrett’s been hanging out there a lot lately, working with the Portuguese Hydrographic Institute and throwing himself into the waves generated by a massive canyon off the Nazaré coast. The video above’ll give you a decent idea of the feat, but we’re still unsure – is this the biggest wave ever ridden?
