Fire On The Cliffs Of Ulus Destroys Two Surf Villas
Wooden straw huts plus fireworks equals raging inferno.
A raging inferno on the cliffs of Uluwatu last night has left two villas at the famed Uluwatu Surf Villas resort destroyed. The fire is thought to have been set off by a group of American tourists who were letting off fireworks. All of the villas were occupied when the blaze took hold though no one was injured.
Speaking to STAB via Facebook, Pecatu (Uluwatu) village priest and Padang Cup Champion, Mega Semahdi appealed for more information about the suspects.

“No one was harmed but two villas (are) totally burned. The security said (they) already warn the guest not to lit the firework and they still do it. They leave the villa after that while everyone busy trying to stop the fire. Villa management already report to the police immigration and USA embassy,” he wrote.
