Dane Reynolds Signs With Vans?
Dane Reynolds has signed with Vans. Well, it sure looks like it, judging from the above picture. In a YouTube clip (that we won’t directly subject you to, but y’can watch here if y’really wanna), the Venturan is rocking a Vans sticker on the bottom of there is a Quiksilver sticker on there, and that is a Neck Beard, so there’s the “someone else’s board” excuse gone. He recently re-signed a multi-year contract with Quik, but no mention was made of a re-engagement with Dane’s long-time shoe sponsor, DC. Ever since he appeared in a clip on his blog Marine Layer Productions, wearing a set of Vans Old Skool hi-tops (and was hardly coy in doing so, especially as the DC sign was still on his board), gums’ve flapped about what surfing’s biggest hype-machine is now plugging in the footwear department. Vans is certainly more in stead with Dane’s tastes, so this ain’t that big of a surprise.
