Carissa Moore, 20 years old and from Hawaii, just beat Tyler Wright in the final of the Rip Curl Women’s Pro, Bells Beach. It’s the second consecutive final the pair have surfed this year (The Drug Aware Margaret River Pro being the first, where Riss also won), and Tyler’s third final from three events. This win slingshots Carissa to number one in the world, and the gals now head to New Zealand.
